This is a partial response that I recieved today from 3DConnexion Support. When a Custom Function is mapped in the 3Dconnexion Control Panel Button Mapping,it generates the assigned key combination in the application. If , for instance , the custom mapping is Ctrl-Alt-T, verify that the Ctrl-Alt-T shortcut when generated from the keyboard has the desired result in the application. Mapping the shortcut as a Custom Function generates the same key combination from the SpacePilotPRO button so you can expect the same result you see when using the keyboard. Shark FX is an application that does not rely on 3Dconnexion software for navigation - only our basic driver is used. When support for 3D devices is implemented the software developers decide how our devices work in their application - so it can vary from one application to the next. The only 3Dconnexion Certified version of Shark is Shark LT Version 5.5. We work with customers to insure our devices work in the demos and in the applications that use 3Dconnexion plug-ins or add-ons ,but we do not work directly with the internally supported applications such as Shark FX. Shark FX Technical Support would be the correct resource for questions about using the SpacePilotPRO inside their application.
