I've had various instances now in V7 where a solid becomes unselectable .. anybody else seeing this ? .. and when I go to wireframe, there is NO WIREFRAME of that object, yet it shows as an object in Object Info Weird !

Unselectable, that's what you are Unselectable though near or far... ...How the thought of you does things to me Never before has something been more :confused: Unselectable in every way And forever more, that's how you'll stay That's why, drawing, it's incredible That something so Unselectable Thinks that I am Unselectable too... Yes, I've seen that, Jol, although still visible in wireframe. In one instance, I was attempting a multiedge fillet that I suspected wouldn't be doable. It went through the motions of trying the fitup, but when it timed out, no message, but the solid was unselectable. I got back access by switching between wireframe and shaded and back. In other instance I've been idly attempting other procedures unlikely to succeed with face deformation and perhaps capping. If it was capping, then I would've been playing with surfaces too. It might be the outcome of attempting an unsuccessful operation rather than particular to solids.

Sometimes when working with surface modeling, I will attempt to transform a curve within the surface body and I will get an error message that reads something to the effect of "cannot regenerate image" or other.. and then half of what I modeled is gone.. EVEN after I hit UNDO. :(

here's a pic of what happens after a move of parts (all split from one 'body')
after a gripper move, several disappear when in wireframe mode and are ..
.. unselectable (that's how they'll stay)
jol attached the following image(s):
