Here is a demonstration of the tool selection mask.

This tool is too often under-used by beginners. It's a shame because it is of extraordinary utility and will save you much time. :)
It complements very well the function and the layers and show / hide.

The principle: choose the entities we want to select, and then do: / command A (MAC)

Warning!:eek: remember to re-enable all entities in the mask, otherwise you can not select the desired entity.
