I have a simple rectangular block with many simple holes and counterbored holes in it. I'd like to remove some of them. I originally drew each hole with a center point. If I select the point at the center of a hole and hit the delete key, the program asks if I want to delete dependencies and continue, then just the point disappears.

If I try to select the hole, I select the whole block? Not sure if I'm doing that wrong. And if I hit delete while the whole block is selected, obviously the whole block disappears.

If I click the mouse "in the hole" (most are not thru holes) or on the side of the hole, I seem to see the hole characteristics in the inspector, but if I reduce all the diameters to 0, I get an error and the hole stays. Even if the hole characteristics are showing in the inspector, the whole block is selected and will disappear if I hit delete.

Any ideas?

Oh, this is all in Viacad 3D version 7.

Thanks Tim! Worked great. I was somewhat lucky that I could turn the block so there wasn't anything behind what I wanted to select. If there had been, what would I do then?
