This morning, Shark began rounding off numbers down to one decimal place. 7.25 mm is now 7.3. I haven't changed the decimal setting in preferences. It is still set to 3 decimal places. I quit out of Shark and started back up but the problem hasn't gone away. I'm a little puzzled. **the Measuring Tape however works fine and is providing the correct 3 decimal places in it's feedback**

Here's a snapshot example of the dimension problem.
You can see that although in my preferences, the decimal place is set to two, and the polygon is clearly drawn at two decimal places, it is somehow being rounded off to one. I searched for an option that I might have accidentally clicked on or something but to no avail.

Have you checked the inspector settings?

                Hi misterrogers
Click on the dimension to change individual dimension
Change the inspector --> dimension properties --> tolerance tab
Linear and linear tolerance drop downs to the number of places you need.
click on a dimension tool with no dimension selected then change to set the default place for all newly drawn dimension
Regards
Jason

Thanks Craig and Jason.
Problem solved. I am still getting familiarized with the Inspector palette. It's handy and quite consolidated, but chock full of information. I didn't know what Linear/Linear Tolerance was but I guess I do now. :)
