                We're trying to get an idea on how many users are still using PPC macs for future development decisions.

Tim,
Poking around on Spatial's site, I saw a webcast to the effect the ACIS 19 will be Intel only. That seems pretty reasonable to me. 
Hardware is still pricey, at least if you are looking at a Mac Pro, but feature and performance benefits of ACIS 19, Lightworks, and farther out, Snow Leopard pretty much eliminate PPC from contention. Better to put the effort into the platform with a future.
