Basically in the past i have been able to open .dwg files. but when i try to open this one it starts open/converting and about halfway through the program crashes. Is there something i am doing wrong? or is there another program i can use to convert the .dwg files and then open them???

I can read that dwg into the latest code stream. What product and version are you using?

I'm able to open the file on ViaCAD 2D3D 8 build 1016 (Mac). If you are on an older version are you able to get an update using Help: Current Version?
