Hi

VCP: bulid 1166.

Maybe it just me, but I can't copy >something< from one layer to another. I can "change selected object to..." Or I can copy it to a new "project".

I tried much but I also couldn't copy an object from one to an other layer directly. But it is possible to copy this object inside the first layer and then change the layer for this copy (my tested examples layer 1 up to layer 5). This is running over the menues, right mouse-key or concept-explorer.
And I learned now that working with layers is easier than working with hidden parts. I really appreciate that!

I never have any problems with this. Just select object, use Edit->Copy, switch layers and Edit->Paste. Actually, I use the famous shortcuts.

Don't understand if you are trying to do something special there.

Then you dont use 1166 on my version 1166 it wont work! Se above @Horst have same problem.

Ask Tim for a later build, like the beta 1182 I'm using now. It works for me, which would suggest it will be solved in a future official update if the issue is related to the application.
