Having to upgrade to viacad from concepts 2d (grumble grumble ect.).

using viacad demo 2d/3d on mac 10.4.latest

When I select an object ( smart polygon rectangle in this case) if part of that object is below another object the selection does not highlight were it is covered by the higher object. This makes it hard to see what I have selected. I do not remember this behaviour in concepts has something been lost along the way?

Any way round this?

Yes the polygon in the back never gets highlighed when selected? Is this expected behavior?

See picture and file, 3 overlapping polygons the one sent to the back never highlights when selected.

attached file created in concepts 2d, select polygon in concepts 2d brings highlighted item to front, (kinda handy that been able to see it:rolleyes: ),
open same file in viacad 2d/3d produces wrong behaviour ie selected items highlighting not visible which is kind of contradictory- why have highlighting if its not visible!

anyone using viacad 2d only having the same experience?

Fixed in 788 for polygons, text, dimensions, etc. Need to address yet for overlapping curves.
