I normally work in solids or surfaces and I tend to hide all the lines or curves when I'm drafting to better visualize the part or surface. I then use show all the curves when I need to modify an associated curve to update the part.

My suggestion is to have the option to Show curve from the explorer when reviewing the associativity of a part. For instance, in an extruded part from a circle, I will just collapse the part in the explorer and then find the profile and right-click on the curve, i.e., the circle, and have the option to show the curve that way I can make my changes to that curve and not show all the unnecessary curves when doing a show all curves. Show all curves is nice but it clutters the screen.

Just a million dollar idea, Tim!
