Hello,

I create a lot of 2D profiles for my archvis work and I wondered if its possible to define the number of interpolations on a per curve basis within ViaCAD? e.g. I could set 10 points for a specific cubic bezier curve etc.

Furthermore, could I also do this for circle segments etc.? For example, say I have an elliptical segment that I wish to convert to a polyline is it possible to alter the number of points that are used to approximate that curve? ... I assume if this works I could export as DXF and maintain that number of points.

thanks,

-neil

The display lists point positions are calcuated on a chordal deviation. When you convert a spline to a polyline, it is using the display list.

We do have a create points along curve tool that might work for you.(Located in the Point tool palette).
