Hi,
Here's a bad one :
- Make a thin and long ellipse and trim it with a line accross.
- Try to fillet the line with the remaining ellipse bit.
---> The ellipse doesn't adjust correctly with the fillet.
---> impossible to extrude the remaining profile.

Hi jlm,

There has been lots of issues with trimming & ellipses. In fairness Tim has fixed lots in this area but this is another good example.

Actually it can be done by changing the order...draw in the line and blend arc the trim/split the closed ellipse to them, it would seem once the ellipse has been split it does not like being trimmed by the arc :confused: Tim ?
