It is very convenient to have an imported bmp image (logo for instance).

Though, it seems that this feature hasn't been fine-tuned :

--> it is still impossible to select with a clic (only fencing).
--> There in no data in the Object info except "scale with view" box (which isn't an info but a display feature).
--> Format & size would be welcome.
--> What do the attributes mean for a picture (color & resolution) ? It doesn' seem to work.
--> The image display is totally buggy on a 24" imac (the picture disappears soon after import), and OK on a MacPro (30" + Radeon X1900).

I implemented images to only select when boundaries are picked. I did this because I was thinking images would frequently be used to trace over. I thought it would be very annoying to have ambity box come up every time a user picked something when tracing.

What do you mean by format?

yes, these really dont apply to images. images are displayed as they are imported.

Can you send me the image you are importing, I have a imac at home I can test on.

Thanks for the feedback!
