Did I say before I hate the dimensions settings ?

Every time I change scale (from nano-science to house building), it takes me 20 minutes to get it back correct (text, arrows, line parameters, offsets...).

Today, I'm reaching the limit : by fiddling the stuff by usual trial ans errors method, I lost all the dimension text.
It turned "###" (see picture).

Any hope to see this improved ?

Thanks,
JL

I remember there being a text file that one could modify so that your dimension settings could be configured as the default.
I think the there is a file in Environ Folder called SysDimen.ini.
I believe that this can be modified in Apple's TextEdit or the MS's NotePad.
Good Luck!

Also for CU 5 ..

.. do we have text size, font and style showing up in the attributes of the Edit Object Box ?

good 2D drawing is a current weakness in Concepts. I hope to see this addressed in next version. I think Tim said there were looking at it. Weaknesses fall in 3 main areas for me.

1. settings don't stick
2. some settings are not customizable (default pen styles)
3. custom pen styles can not be assigned a short cut key

Simply put:

a. I want to be able to set the line style as I like them
b. I want to be able to select them quickly with a short cut key
c. I want to know I am going to get predictable results when changing scales, views and files.

Achieve that and Concepts will be a very special tool that I can work in from concept to production drawings.
