Tim,

From the old forum.

If you move an part and then try and render, it will be invisible. You must "shade now" and then render for it to appear.

Can you fix this?

Is anyone still seeing this? I'm not able to repeat but perhaps I'm not using the correct steps.

I will have to look into it. The file that I posted a while ago would do it everytime (in CU), but I would have to look it up again. I saw it yesterday on Shark and that was the first time I noticed it in a few days of fairly heavy usage.

It may be a unusual series of steps for most users (I did not know what was happening for a while before I discovered it, my parts just dissapeared while arranging them for a final rendering).

But I will get back to you with a model.

Art supplied a file which reproduced the problem. We were able to find and fix. The fix is in build 740, the next patch.
