Hi,

I have been wondering as to why I cannot use this to verify a line/splines endpoints.

HI, Steve

Did you activate the points before trying the verify x,y,z. It works if you display points ctrl+D or if you drag a selection window around the end of a line or spline.

Hi Jason,
thanks for the reply.

Your workaround will allow me to verify a CP, but the question was about lines/splines. I really dont see why showing points should be needed. I would of thought any snap point could have verify xyz made

Hi Steve
When you activate a line by clicking on it the coords show in the top so when you hover over a snap at end mid vertex etc the coords do display.

I guess the verify command since it also can change a points location requires you to actually select the point in question. Where coords at the top appear when geometry is selected and update dynamic to mouse movement.

I can select a solid, and verify any of its snap points without showing points. the endpoint of a line is the same as the endpoint CP, so why do I not need to show points for the solid, but need to show points for a line. It is not consistent. I have also attempted to change the position of a point on a solid, but it does not change.

regards,

- Steve
