I have been getting really bad export meshes from OBJ export from sharkfx. I did get an acceptable mesh exporting STL. The OBJ mesh had problems along rounds, especially edges that had compound curvature. The file was translated from a step file and then into an OBJ mesh.

Maybe a mesh should be created within SharkFX first then exported as OBJ?

Thanks all!

Hi Tem

The OBJ exporter uses the display list facets. You can use different resolutions to increase/decrease facets. For more control, you can change object type to a mesh providing access to the facet parameters.
