Morning.
So after you have done an instance using the linear duplicate, how do you edit it?
Currently just deleting it and doing it again but seems a bit daft when it records that it's an instance and everything to do with an instance but you can change it?
Using v12 sharkpro, probably applies to all other versions

Right Click and 'Explode Instance'
Edit in 'Concept Explorer'
Don't know about a 'Linear Duplicate'

Yeah that is an option with linear duplicate the explode thing. When you do a polar duplicate you can click each individual part and adjust it's angle in the inspector. Thought it may have been similar?
