ViaCAD v 12 file corrupted - ViaCAD v12 (build 1536) recently crashed on me and the file is damaged and can't be opened again

When trying to open the file I get the error:
"This file is damaged! Cannot read into application."

Does anyone know if there is a way to fix it?

For some reason no backup files were created today either ... I'll check the settings for that but I usually have them turned on.

I tried in SharkCAD Pro, didn't work, maybe if you try in ViaCAD.
Try "IMPORT" sometimes that works, closing and reopening
the program, and "IMPORT" usually works.
But sometimes nothing works, and you have to learn to
"SAVE" often.

if the damage was created by doing undos the file is corrupt and typically cannot be recovered.

save early, save often... and do not save to one (1) file only but do a "Save as" by adding a consecutive numbering ("xyz.01.sfx" etc.) at least for important projects.
