The product version feature matrix for V14 says that ACIS has been restored to VC 2D/3D, which has brought back shelling and blending/filleting, but there's no history/concept explorer. Do profiles remain associated with objects that they generate? Intriguing. Another seeming inconsistency is that the interoperability list says 2D/3D hasn't had IGES/STEP/SAT export restored, but it CAN export SAB (binary ACIS)? All versions are listed with ACIS V26, but Tim's said elsewhere that SharkCAD's got V2023 ACIS updates. Interesting, but confusing.

>>ACIS has been restored to VC 2D/3D,

ACIS has never been removed from ViaCAD/SharkCAD/TurboCAD Mac.
Some solid modeling tools have been added back in V14. See v12 vs V14 solid modeling tools.

>>there's no history/concept explorer.
There is history with ViaCAD 2D/3D and TurboCAD Deluxe. See video.

>> IGES/STEP/
ViaCAD 2D/3D and TurboCAD Deluxe do NOT have STEP or IGES. Spatial charges a royalty to include these. SAT/SAB are part of ACIS and free. We are trying to keep the royalty cost down for these lower priced products.
