Good day,
my name is Calugar Horea Vasile.
Yesterday I purchased ViaCAD 2D/3D v14 upgrade with 90USD from website with download option. Mention that I'm from Romania and have OS: GNU Linux Ubuntu 22.04.
Until today I had v10.

When I try to register I get ''Invalid registration data!''
The input is:

name: Pop Horea
email: [email protected]
Serial: xxxx-xxxx-... -- method copied with clipboard from mozilla firefox and second time filled manually.

After that if I click on ok button of miniwindow, it opens another instance of registration window with empty fields, on top of the first witch remains filled.

Was the second Window with the Authorization Code?

Then u need the following procedure: Fill out all fields except for the Authorization Code.
For registration, you need an internet connection. As soon as you click the "Register Now" button, a registration webpage will open. Fill out the form completely and submit it.
After registering, you will receive an email with the Authorization Code. This is a system-specific code based on the serial number, registration key, and Node ID.
Copy the Authorization Code from the email to the clipboard and from there into the registration dialog. Now you can activate the program with a working internet connection.
Activate: This field is activated as soon as a valid serial number, the registration key, and the authorization code are entered.

you are describing here the ol`license activation mechanism not valid for recent SC/VC versions, an 'authorization code' is not required anymore (see screenshot).

btw, Linux is not a supported platform.

Linux has Wine, and with Wine, Windows programs run.

which is still not a supported platform, use at own risk.

I’m additionally unsure, if “running a program” covers an OpenGL-based 3D modeler as VC/SC… at least if running does not only mean launching but using w/o issues as graphics glitches or stability flaws.
