Hi. Is there any feedback about Viacad & Shark 14 compatibility on Mac OS Sonoma? Anyone did the update and work with Shark since few days (or more on Beta versions)? Thank you!

Hi
I updated to official public release macOS Sonoma, the other day and SharkCAD Pro opened just fine.
I also open another file in another window, and I didn’t see the “vanishing drawing overlay effect” caused by the second file I was seeing in macOS 13.
Haven’t done much with it since as busy away from home.

Hmmm, I wrote "I also open another file in another window, and I didn’t see the “vanishing drawing overlay effect” caused by the second file I was seeing in macOS 13"
Well I was mistaken...

That is an OpenGL box clipping issue. Mike, do you have steps to repeat? Is that just happening after you open another file on top of an existing file? Tim

Hi Tim,
Sorry working away, hence the tardy response.
Yes it's repeatable, and you can use the Dynamic Pan tool to highlight it, although it can be affected by other window actions too.
1. Open SharkCAD, which in my case starts with a blank untitled file
2. Select a file from my Recents
3. Select another file from my recents
4. Minimise the window to reveal the other file "underneath"
5. Select Dynamic Pan (or Zoom to Fit etc), and if you move the object to the left, it will suddenly jump to a smaller version of itself, and then will disappear behind a "blank window" as it is moved to the right. The file does stay at a reduced size, so Zoom to Fit doesn't make the file get any bigger on the screen either, and the only way to restore this is to close the other files off, and just be left with one window.
Hope this makes sense
Mike
