"Curves not planar" "issue" Figured out a way to dodge that message. I'm not sure why it has to be that the "Curves not planar" message has to exist and SharkCAD refuses to give the user a clue on how to deal with the message in a non-frustrating way. I'm probably dense, so it took me months to realize all I needed to do was rotate the curve 90 degrees. It was by chance or more like accident that I noticed that rotating the curve 90 degrees AFTER applying the coincident constraint and midplane coincident is fine. What puzzles me is why it works fine that the constraint is ok with it after the fact but not in advance. Reproduction method. If viewing screen with curve positioned vertically, and left is X = 0 and right is greater than 0, and if in top view negative Y is screen bottom and positive Y is screen top, and you want to to use equal length or coincident or midpoint constraints on a curve that must be positioned along the Y axis, and SharkCAD throws the "Curves not planar" message, then: 1. Initially position the curve in parallel or superimposed on the vertically oriented curve. 2. Apply constraints. 3. Reorient the curve afterwards. At least, that's what is working for me.
