I have been noticing this for some time now, but always work through it. Today I was playing with a model/project I started a couple weeks ago, a flatbed for a truck. I had a 2 x 2 x 12 block that needed to be shortened to 8 inches. So I used the Thicken Solid tool with a value of -4. When it was done it looked as if it was 2 x 2 x 2. It certainly didn't fit in the 8 inch space it was intended for and was short by several inches, yet when I measured it, it said it was 8 inches long. The space was 8 inches. Then when I went to Undo the work, it moved the block to a different part of my model, possibly directly above it similar to how the Mirror tool would have done it. The workplane is in Top. This has happened quite often in the last 2 years i've been using this product. Normally I just delete the part and make another one. Anyone else have this problem. I'm running build 984 on a pc.

Why use Thicken Solid? Surely the easiest way to do this would be to just change the dimensions in the parameter boxes.

My problem isnt the size of the object. The problem is that it gets moved to a different coordinate in my model.
