One of the things that I love about this program is that it anticipates the default entry while you are drawing. For instance, when you draw a circle, you draw it any size and then input your value and the diameter is changed.

I frequently move (or copy and move) elements along one axis. So, I select the item, move it along the axis and one of the values changes (x,y,or z) the other 2 are zero. Then if I input a value, the x coordinate changes no matter what! Could you program it so that when only one value changes, it is the default for any inputs? This would work well with the snap to alignment axis (or whatever it is called) that is built into the program.

Thanks Much,

Art,

I changed the default data entry field to be the non zero value of dx,dy, dz in build 735.

Tim,

Is there a way that we could apply the same idea to the differential scale? Usually there is at least one axis that remains at "1". The other 1 or 2 axis could use a mouse input. I would even be happy with doing one at a time to be able to use the mouse. Right now I end up using a calculator or the uniform scale to find the correct proportions.

Thanks,

Tim,

Thanks for changing the default move, it is a real improvement. But the field will not accept a negative symbol. What I mean is if you move an object -.22 and then input -.25 the object moves (and the field shows) +.25.
