Maybe I'm just thinking incorrectly or missing something but....

When I drag a symbol into a drawing (making an assembly drawing), the values of the BOM (which are assigned to the symbol) do not carry over.

Then I need to reassign the BOM info. But if I copy-n-paste, its lost again.

Do I need to add the BOM info on each and every bolt, nut & washer?

Going to try the apply to selected with many selected and see what happens, but that is one heck of a kludge.

Shouldn't the BOM data carry over from a symbol? (and on a copy-n-paste)

edit: Ok scratch the symbol has the BOM data. It doesn't save that.

Do I *really* have to enter BOM data for each and every M3x25 bolt individually? why not as part of a symbol?
