mac os x command-tab equivalent (#1709)

Tim & team: In os x, one of the powerful keyboard shortcuts is command tab, which allows you to tab through the running applications. While working in Shark, I was noticing how some tools tend to be used in coordination, depending on the phase of a job I am in. So I thought, wouldn't it be efficient if I could do the equivalent of command tab (perhaps command shift) to quickly cycle through a set of pre-defined tools. Imagine a empty toolbar that you could drag tool icons onto (or off of). Any icons in this toolbar would then be the ones that come up on screen when you command shift (like os x previews on screen running applications when you command tab). This could also be valuable for non-power users who do not want to set keyboard shortcuts for every tool. Quick, flexible access to the tools you are using at any time. Gary
