I have seen that you can with the Boss feature add a cylinder so that there is a round in the base that appears to be welded.

Can it be done with two other solids?
I am referring to a cylinder (Round or multi-cornered). cones, or blocks.

I have tried to use the feature stitch as well as fillet surface, but no success.

Is there such an option somewhere. The manual is not clear enough here.

no - not directly, but you can simulate it easily using a pipe or sweep tool

... you may need to 'explode' a curve(s) off first to for the pipe or sweep to be driven along

(There may be a good feature request for Tim in your question Jors !)

Jol,
It is working as a sweep along a curve.
I will post a pic tomorrow.
I will also try to do it for a block.

Hey man, this program is real fun for a beginner. I come across the most weird problems and for each one there is a solution!

Well done Jors - your enthusiasm will see you well !

Well I agree, it's a terrific program ... and now's really a great time to learn CAD.

I'm jealous of you guys starting now 'cos I learned CAD 20 years ago when it was just a big steaming pile of old boxers.

Woohoo look I made a cube ... woahhh !

There is the odd hick-up now and again, but the guys here on the forum do their best to document problems - and Mr Olson and co. do their best to keep on top of the issues that come up.

Keep up the good work !

Here's another way to fudge it quickly. Copy the two members that share the fillet intersection in place and thicken them. Intersect the thickened copies, then apply a fillet to the edge of the intersection object.

So far, no success yet.

I manage to draw a patter along a path for round objects and this is what it looks like:
UserPostedImage
-The one on the right is a bit overdone_

I don't know what to do about a square block yet.

I have looked at the manual, page 323, Fixed width and Hold Line.
Also on page 331 Fixed width Chamfer
Also page 346 about stitch operations. There is a picture with a below heading of Feature Operations on Surfaces.

This appearance is what I am looking for, but I will try again.

No, It seems to me I am unable to get it right. The fillet tool for surfaces works for a cylinder but for a block. Nothing seems to work.
The surface fillet feature seems to be for loose surface only.
Though there must be a way because if I look at the gallery of Punch's web site I see models that have rounded off corners inside.

But how?

Oh, that's easy enough.
Make your base plate and the shaped block/extrusions and join them with the Add Solid tool, then use the Blend tool on them - that's all I did.

Blend does both concave and convex radii, automatically.

For the polygon, just select each edge you want radiusing.

Thanks.
Now I can come to rest.
[But only until I get the next obstacle. Most of the problems, fortunately, you can get the answers in the manual}.

make me a drawing of what you want.

I do not understand your request, please.

Salut,
It is working now. I am using the blend tool with success. I did not know you had to join your two objects first.
