I have some parts imported from SketchUp. I have stitched them to become stitched solids. They are at an angle from horizontal and so the BOM attributes are not the actual size of the object but rather the volume of the object measured by the normal xyz axes. Is there a way to adjust the xyz axes of the object to follow the angle of the object and so get an accurate BOM? Kris

Hi Kris, Shark FX can assign an axis to an object but it is not used when making a BOM. Which BOM are using that is axis dependent? Tim

Tim, I'm using the Attributes/BOM window in Via Cad. I export the BOM to get a timber list in Excel. I can correct the axes in SketchUp but was wondering if I can do the same in ViaCad. Kris

I should have added - I'm using the "Extent Properties". Kris

An additional addition - The axes in SketchUp are correctly aligned along the object so Via Cad is seems to be defining the extents of the object with respect to the normal xyz orientation rather than the Sketchup orientation. Kris
