I need to show a hole for a pocket screw at the end of a board.

Can someone kindly show how to model this? Or at least what tool to use? I tried the countersink, counterbore and reg hole but can't figure out how to angle the through-hole to the perpendicular attached face. Thank you.

Here's an example of what I'm trying to accomplish:

Try drawing a centerline for the hole that you want - extend it a bit on either end. Then use the C key to create a work plane on one end of that line perpendicular to the direction of the line. Draw a circle of the diameter that you need for the hole, then use the extrude hole tool create the hole.

Hope this is clear enough.

That's it. I was thinking to use one of the tools i mentioned earlier, but I guess a hole is well.. a hole. None of them seemed to be able to angle to a specific point on a face but this does the trick. thanks!

Hi

Try the 2pt option and then you can draw your hole, countersunk, counterbore at an angle to a face, you can draw a center line to use as a guide.

Thanks Jason, I thought there might be a way using one of those tools.
