Is there some sort of trick to this tool? I'm trying my darndest to hatch in a section and I can't because it keeps saying "no valid hatch region found".

Please tell me what I'm doing wrong. I've got a conic attached to a line and it's closed and still no hatch region...?? This happens all too frequently.

The line is just a segment with beginning and end points at the conic's beginning and end.

Stymied.

Make sure the curves you are hatching are all on the screen.

There is also the option to select the curves using the option/control key. This by passes the autodetect which curves to hatch logic of the command.

I also did some work in 949 regarding hatching that should make it more robust based on some issues reported from tech support.
