How do you find and fix gaps?

Where is the "Auto Heal" command?

A video would be great! :D

If you post a profile that has gaps I'll post a video on how I would go about fixing.

Best way I know is to start your profile over (for extrusions, sweeps etc..), set your Workplane with C, Enable Snaps for at least Endpoints, Intersects, and most importantly Workplane.
This gets everything following onto a plane, then when drawing lines or curves be certain they end on endpoints, midpoints, intersections, etc.
Then group all.
If a lot of lines/curves are involved I do maybe 8 initially, connect the ends and try simple extrusion; if successful, group those 8 and continue with remaining lines/curves. If a simple extrusion works, usually sweeps will work.
For some reason, often there seem to be Endpoints floating around near line ends (at least for me.... LOL), so it's helpful to zoom in close to be sure the Endpoint you're accepting for an end of a line/curve is the right one.

Here is my 120 tooth gear.
I imported it form my gear generator.

I can get it to work, it I ungroup everything.
But when I do that, I have a whole bunch of lines and I don't know how to join them back up...

from what I understand, the 'auto heal' will join them up...
But I can't find the 'auto heal' function in the menus...?

Tim, I would really like to see some more video tutorials.
Any chance you can put some together for us?

I'm trying to build this clock virtually, but I just can not get it to work
with ViaCAD. (I get it working elsewhere though...)

I think I'm doing everything correctly, but it just doesn't want to play :(

Wow, 4500 lines

This gear is made for a bunch of pure lines, UMO, this is not a good draw to work on, My advise is that you redraw-convert to arcs an lines and you will some headache

On SharkFX7 I got this work by ungrouping the objects do a extrude command, no problems with gaps at all,
Any way, to clean a little bit i do this and it works fine also: select all objects, simplify them, then deselect all, use the REGION TRIM tool, click outside of the paths (this should erase some overlapped objects).

From this point, in isometric view, selecting all objects. i was able to detect two small gaps when I do the extrude (by distance option) command, (SharkFX discreetly highlight this gaps on the screen, you need a sharp vision, but yes, shark does),

I corrected this gaps with the corner trim tool, then extrude and it works.

Here a screen capture of the gear

I tried several times to upload the file (4.6 mb shark file), but again, unsuccessfully, the forum returns an error.
