Hi everyone; Just starting using Shark FX making a 3D model of a part & wondering what step should be taken to save it as a DXF file ie; Do dimension layers need to be off, do boxes need to be check or do I need to draw it first in 2D then save it to a DXF. The save DXF is for a CNC Router with the Toolpath software Thank you in advance for any suggestion. Roger

Hi Roger You can use the draw view to generate a 2d profile. Create new draw view xy plane copy geometry and paste into view draw View settings pick view you want (top) pick scale 1:1, pick edges --> precise curves after everything is set pick flatten draw view clean up the geometry may be multiples of same geometry on top of each other select geometry export dxf/dwg with selected only checked Regards Jason
