hello,

I use a lot for my KeyShot photorealistic renderings and animation.

It would be really nice, there is a bridge between SharkFX and KeyShot.

I don't want to derail the thread, but...

It would be great if Shark/VC could also support Jas files so I can use Cheetah3D. At the moment I'm having to export to SAT, open SAT in Moi(beta) and then export to 3DS.

Cheetah3D may not be Keyshot, but for what C3D costs(a fraction of what Keyshot costs), it's a total bargain, and produces really fantastic results.

This should be a standard in the industry, that being a "live link" plugin for every CAD modeling application, like STEP and IGES. It seems odd that this hasn't happened already. As if the CAD and render/vizualization guys (who depend on each other, or at least their paying client s do) don't have a clue / care about the fact that there needs to be better interoperation between their apps. At least, the rendering guys should be pounding on the door of the CAD guys. Hmmm???
