I'm considering buying the Shark FX V9 package, but would like to learn more before I pull the trigger. Would the "ViaCAD Tips, Tutorials, and Techniques" book be useful, or is ViaCAD significantly differently than the Shark product? Thanks! -Taylor

ViaCAD and Shark are very similar, the main difference is that Shark has more tools. The ViaCAD Tips, Tutorials, and Techniques book would be very useful.
You can a list of the Shark tools here:

Thanks Nick..... Your answer was what I was hoping for..... I just wanted to make sure that the Via Cad and Shark products had the same "family" relationship.... I've already signed up for their mailing list, and will keep an eye out for the discount offers. Happy Holidays! -Taylor
