I'm just working through the tips and tricks doc from Tim Olson.
Now I need some help on the "How can I copy a feature with the Gripper?" exercise.
As I'm only working since a short period of time with this program, I may have only probs of understanding the technique. Or it is a bug maybe ?
What I've done / tried to do:
"Use the Deep Select tool to select the faces associated with the features you want to copy. Then, hold down a copy key and drag the faces to a new location. Upon release, the copied faces are merged into the body. "
And this not work for me. I'm always getting a ACIS Error "gap cannot be filled" followed by a "gap cannot be filled: "Face Copy_xxxx: Hint: Try suppressing feature: Extrude_xxxx" or "gap cannot be filled: "Face Copy_xxxx: Hint: Try suppressing feature: ACIS solid_xxxx"
I'm using ViaCAD 9.0.0 Build 1137.
Any kind of help would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance
PS. I maybe wrong with this posting under "Tips and Tutorials", if so please bear with me, will make it better next time.
