since purchasing a copy of ViaCad Pro V7 and continuing with Shark FX v9 I've struggled with a couple of 3D drafting problems and maintaining control of the tool/inspector/Concept Explorer/snaps/...... boxes within the context of the application window. the outstanding ideas and help provided in solving my tapered tube problem has convinced me to seek additional help with some "old favorites".
1.) what's the quickest/best way to establish a
NORMAL to the current work plane at a specific point ??
2.) given all you have is a line in 3D space, what's the quickest/best way to establish a work plane
NORMAL to the line ??
3.) is there a way to "rotate" the work plane about a point to facilitate being able to read the dimensions ??
4.) is there a way to "dock" the tool/inspector/Concept Explorer/snaps/...... boxes within the context of the application window ?? currently every time Shark FX's application window is resized, everything open has to be "returned to its place" when the application goes back to almost full screen.
thanks
