I have sent this to Encore support but thought I would post here as well.....

I just upgraded to Shark LT v8, and performance is very poor vs the very old Concepts Unlimited v4 which I was using.
I have checked this on both a 2008 Mac pro and 2014 Mac Pro.

I generally import DWG or SAT models and generate drawings from these in Shark. These imports are not working well- I am getting hidden line generation errors.

I can import STEP without the redraw/ hidden line problems, but performance is so slow that even simple operations are too slow to be useable. Zooming with the scroll wheel takes 3 seconds to regen the screen (definitely NOT "interactive" speed)

I have sample files available.(see files attached to this post).

We have 3 Industrial Designers trying to use SharkLT, and we need to resolve this problem ASAP.


I have imported this same DWG file into v4 Concepts, and speed is not fast, but acceptable.
