New to Viacad 2D3D V9.04 Build 1163 and having a couple of basic issues. I have drawn a 2d box. The manual says a double click on an object will bring up a dialog box of the object's data. When I double click on the 2D box nothing happens. If I select the box by Click, hold and move right to left, and look at the Inspector I have no data tab onl;y Attributes, so cannot change the size etc. Any ides what I am doing wrong? Thanks Brian

if you draw a polygon, there are two options: single line and smart polygon. try this

Thanks Rococo That sorted out the filling issues and also the data tab. However I still get nothing when double clicking as the manual says. Regards Brian

hi, double click on an object is unused afaik. you can double click inside the concept explorer -> features tab if objects are selected

If the inspector is closed, doubling clicking on a single object open the inspector to the data tab so it can be modified easily. This also works on individual features of 3d objects, for example if you had a rectangular plate with corner radius or holes you could double click on the feature to open the inspect data tab for that individual feature vs finding it in the concept explorer and opening from there.

Thanks for the replies. I think I now understand it. Apologies but it is a steep learning curve at the moment. Regards Brian
