I have a sphere and would like to project text to the surface. Is there any trick. I tried the tool tips. looked at a couple of videos but it does not work.
I select the "project curve surface" tool
I can select the text.
click on the sphere surface.
Then it asks for 2 points. I tried clicking all over - nothing seems to work at all. no projection whatsoever.

what am I missing here?

thanks
Mike

Hello Mike

Try this in the following order

Create your sphere
Create an arc on the sphere
Use the text along path to create text on the arc
Then use edit change object type - convert to curves
Then use the project curve surface tool to project the text curves onto the sphere

Thank you. With the help and trying some workarounds I got the result eventually.
I think the capability I saw maybe from SharkFX and not from ViaCad Pro. but with a couple of extra steps I got to the required result.

regards
Mike
