i have a question:

Is there a problems with Shark FX v9, Being slow and slow jumpy zooming with El Capitan.?

i have noticed a real problem since i upgraded to El Capitan i have build 1173. i had assumed it was because i was using some scanned files for heads up digitising but it still happens without the scans.

The file is 57 MB in size it also happens with all my older drawings i know updated quickly.

Wish i had stayed with Yosemite now as Shark worked fin with that for me.

i have a late iMac 27" 3.4Ghz i7 with 32 GB GeForce GTX 675MX 1024 MB and 3T fusion drive nothing else running.

Regards

Brian

Brian,

Any chance you have solved the jumpy reaction to zooming? I am having the same issue with Viacad 9.0.9 running on my iMac 3.06 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
Sometimes if I copy/paste into a new file it helps with the zooming and speed but I always lose elements such as hatching

cheers.

Hi AAC

i found there were problem objects within my drawing files if i deleted them and redrew things then worked ok.

found them by a process of elimination deleting until i found the problems then opening the file again and deleting what i found

this worked for me

Regards

Brian
