"Join Curve" error

VCP b. 1166.

Draw a "Circumscribed Polygon" single line. Diameter 3mm
"Use fillet two lines" to round one corner to 0,5mm
Use "Join Curve" to made one object out of it. Now the figure is defect as in my attachment.

Try is it out, please.

Is this an error?

The Join Curve tool makes a single G2 spline from the curves. The sharp corners are not preserved.

Exception is when you join two lines, it will make a single polyline.

Can you Group the curves instead?

That is the same problem I have described here: http://forum.punchcad.co....aspx?g=posts&t=7441 but it is solved (in most cases). To pull up to a solid body you don't need to join the lines. It is sufficient to tag them for grouping. But only to group them is not sufficient in most of my cases I want it to use. Then I give a surface to the polygone and pull up works always fine.

"The sharp corners are not preserved." -> Yes!
Why make the change to some line or corner longest away? When connecting the element i expect the endpoint on the closest or selected element to be changed. But that's not what i see?

@horst -> this is what i see too.
