I am running V7, and have been for several years, enough time to be familiar with the program.
I've run into a problem I haven't seen before, perhaps because this is an unusual situation.
I'm in draw view, I have a complicated model that must be drawn in black and white, and a cross section view is of no value due to the geometry. To identify the parts I have chosen to use the cross hatch tool to use various patterns to identify parts.
The cross hatch tool works, filling the polygons generated in draw view, however, when I hit print, a few of the cross hatched areas disappear (while the polygon remains) on the drawing and doesn't appear in the print. Nothing I have tried seems to make any difference.
Is there a solution for this other than manually drawing each cross hatch?

You could try and explode the cross hatch using Edit : Change Object Type.
