I have an issue with ViaCad 2D/3D built 1184 (as in the previous build), that when I save a simple file, it takes about 10 minutes to save it. When I test it on another machine, or when a forum member tested it, it worked fine. I don't feel like reinstalling the whole (Mac, El Capitan) computer, so I want to find out what is causing the problem. I trashed all the files in the preference folder (ViaCad folder and all files that start with com.encore) but that didn't fix it. I can't see anything in the Library->Application support folder. Is there more?

Oh, and it's working fine in the 1185 Pro Powerpack Beta.

OK, got it and tried it. Unfortunately, it didn't solve my problem. Any other files to trash it uses when it's saving? As said, the Pro beta doesn't have this issue.

Is the file size the same with the saved files between 2D3D and Pro? They should be exactly the same size.

Do you happen to have Prefs: Filing : Save Compact files on? If off it will save the display lists.

The Save compact files is off.

When I save the file with Pro it's 165 KB, from 2D3D it's 2.6 MB. When I delete the links it will save fast, but in the small file saved with Pro, the links are included.

When I open that just saved file from Pro in 2D3D, and try to save it, same issue.
