Its the second thing I was working no this week that this happened to.

Please help.

I have had a number of these corrupted files and once it has happened they can never be opened again, the development team have never responded to the ones I sent.

Ok thanks. Usually Tim responds quite rapidly to any issue.. So that leaves me wondering why this would be any different. Maybe it is something they are working on and just don't have an answer at the moment...? Hopefully it's an issue that will be resolved with a future service pack.

But can you tell me what version of shark or VC you were using? I was using SharkFX 5, 7 and 8 for a while before this and it never happened. I might have to temporarily downgrade just so I can be reassured it hopefully won't happen.

I have only had it happen on V9, it happened about 3 or 4 times and they were all on much earlier builds.
I doubt it will happen on build 1186 as I have been testing that build to destruction and have not lost a file yet despite a few crashes and force closures, what build are you using?

When it happened to me I figured out that it was after Shark crashed or I had to force close the program.
It would happen if I closed the computer down without reopening the file that had crashed or was forced closed before shutting down the machine.
If I reopened a file that had to be force closed or one that had crashed Shark and then closed it again before shutting down the machine it never happened.

That's great news. Hopefully this problem which has also happened to me twice this week will indeed be fixed.

My current build of Shark LT v9.0.8 is 1172. Maybe theres a new version. I honestly haven't checked at all since I upgraded mid last year.

I just checked and it said I'm at the Current Build. Any idea when 1186 might be available? Thanks.
