Rank: Member Joined: 4/18/2015(UTC) Posts: 88 Location: Australia Thanks: 9 times		Hi all more questions I am having troubles working out about adding dims and notes to a 2d drawing if I DONT click into a 2d drawing frame (eg red dashed line don't visible), add a dim or note, I can't seem to edit the dim because the frame is bring selected first and I can't select (get to) the dim but if I select the drawing frame first (eg the red dashed line is visible) then place a dim, I can select it and edit it is this just the way it is? Rank: Senior Member Joined: 2/2/2007(UTC) Posts: 5,447 Was thanked: 502 time(s) in 353 post(s)		HI Andrew Yes, you will need to activate the draw view to add dimensions to objects in the draw view. Draw views are "activated" because they contain a different view orientation and scale than the sheet they are in. There is an option to flatten a draw view. This will remove the draw view by projecting and scaling the contents into the current sheet view. Tim
