I am trying to extrude a shape which has filleted internal sides, at an extrusion offset angle of 8 degrees.

The problem is the arcs of the fillets reduce in radius to zero as the extrusion progresses. This would be expected but is there any way to maintain the arcs constant?

Andy

Can you post some pics of what you are describing?

Not sure what this looks like but can you add the radius after extrusion.

Regards

Hi Andy,
As Jason suggested, an example would be helpful.
You could subtract a tapered solid.

This shows the issue, the lines should end up parallel rather than the radius tapering and the lines converging, eventually to a point.

Andy,
As Jason suggested:

<<<< Not sure what this looks like but can you add the radius after extrusion.>>>>
seems to work well.

Draw the outside and inside lines.
Extrude with 8 degree taper.
Use Constant Blend, and select the corner where the inside
sides meet.

When I try this is seems to be applying a fillet to all corners of the selected corner, including the front and back faces.

I have made sure nothing is originally selected, then selecting just the curve in the existing corner does this.

OK I have this now. Doing a multi-select works.

Thanks!
