Hello there I just tried to make a SubD cylinder and noticed 2 strange things: 1. If I type in a specific number of rings, it creates a cylinder with 1 ring less than desired. So, if I want a ring with 8 sides, I have to type 9. 2. Using the gripper, I can't rotate the cylinder around its axis. It only rotates the gripper itself. Reseting the gripper didn't help either. I'm fairly new to viacad, so it could also be a user error, but I guess it's not.

I was not able to repeat this. I did notice scaling was not working correctly and update that in the next beta. Thanks! Tim

Ok thanks, at least it wasn?t my fault :-) For my gripper problem I found a little workaround. Clicking on the cylinder and rotating with the gripper doesn't seem work, but If I select it by drawing a box from right to left, rotating works just fine. David
