Hello,
This is a very frequent and long standing issue for me :
- Create a few blocks (any)
- Do a modification on one of the block (blend an edge)
- Boolean add this modified block with another, selecting the other block first (it changes the position in history.
- Boolean add or subtract some other blocks (not sure it is mandatory)
- Go to the feature tree (history) and remove feature blend...
---> the first block comes back and the history of the complete solid is broken

This is longstanding behavior. See this I posted on 8 years ago: Cut/Paste/Duplicate and Object History - Keeping an editable history when duplicating objects
http://forum.punchcad.co...sts&t=7365#post27493 This may not be the same thing, but in think it is at least related.
The best I can explain it is at some point in editing an object, the ACIS kernel hides the internals away as an opaque ACIS object.

When the solid has been used in a MTS drawing before being broken, it is a complete disaster.
This is why I always do MTS drawings on a separate file ("saved as" from my 3D construction)
As it is fully repeatable, I hope it can be solved soon...

I can repeat your steps and looking into a fix. Related to using a boolean feature. Tim

Repeats in b1620 even in a very simple configuration :
Make 2 blocks
filet one edge of one block
Boolean add the 2 blocks starting with clicking the non-filleted
Remove feature fillet
---> history broken
