This is a 400 cubic feet Cinder Ladle Car. They are used in steel making to remove slag off site. Sometimes the slag will cool off enough to where it cannot be poured so that’s why the ladles typically have a cone shape to them.

I designed this in ViaCAD 14 but rendered it in 12. I still have not mastered the rendering features of 14 and prefer an illustration as opposed to a photorealistic image.

Thank you HDSdesigns,
Very well done, and I learned something about the ladle cars.
I live near the steel mill, and they only use torpedo shaped cars,
nothing as nice as your model.
